Engineering Tech School

Raise your glasses—your eyeglasses—to all the students who remember what it was like to survive life as a nerd before it was actually considered cool. Ah, memories. HBCU

Prior to the enactment of the Civil Rights Act, historically black colleges and universities provided the only opportunity for people of color to receive higher education in the United States. 101 of those institutions still exist today, and if you’ve chosen to attend, it would behoove you to brush up on the experiences associated with why they were necessary in the first place. Take heart and take as many African-American History courses as you possibly can.

Law School

You know what they say. Legal eagles soar the highest. …fine. No one says that. But everyone should. Law school is not for the faint of heart, nor is it for those with a fear of dense reading material. Liberal Arts School

Med School

Firstly, a hearty dose of gratitude goes out to all of you who are brave enough to place our lives in your hands. Secondly, you are going to need to get through a lot of textbooks before the Medical Board trusts you to do so. Whether you’re headed to the ER, the OR, or planning on getting some R&R before you start your own practice, you’ll definitely want to get into these books, stat!

Ivy League

Odds are, if you’re on your way to one of the most elite educational institutions in the country, you’ve already been hitting the books pretty hard. Good luck if you’re looking for reprieve; there will be none of that around here, bub. You’ve got books to read if you’re going to stay on your A game.
