Kingdom of Ash – Sarah J. Maas

“Wow. This book was incredible. I’m assuming if you are preparing to read it, you’re already pretty invested in the characters. If not, it definitely will be difficult to read because it is 962 pages. Not going to lie, it kind of wrecked me emotionally, but in the best way. I’ve learned so much from these characters, especially Aelin. She showed me how to be strong, how to keep smiling and keep fighting even when life is unbearable. In this final close to the series, you really see her become a leader that we just fall in love with all over again. Not to mention she’s hilarious, and so is her entire court. All the characters are back and better than ever, and it’s so exciting to read this final battle. Would definitely recommend.”

– Addison S.

Man’s Search For Meaning – Viktor E. Frankl

“Victor Frankl uses his incarceration in a concentration camp and translates that experience into his philosophy, logotherapy. This is a more introspective type of analysis rather than the more popular retrospective analysis. This is a must read for any student of philosophy.”

– Nelda M.

Killers of the Flower Moon – David Grann

“Perfect book to learn about a historic event that few people know about. While it is disturbing with the depiction of shameful acts, it is enlightening how it gave birth to a critical agency in our country, the FBI. Highly recommended for history buffs!”

– Laura T.

The Body Keeps The Score – Bessel Van Der Kolk, M.D.

“Someone I love has PTSD; She has a complex trauma from early in her life. This book brought clarity to many of the physical experiences, and symptoms of her flashbacks she was feeling. It’s something she still references in her ongoing understanding of herself and how it has shaped her.”

– Patrick M.

To Kill A Mockingbird – Harper Lee

“I loved “To Kill a Mockingbird”. It’s a beautifully written coming of age story, I’ve read it three times and it’s just SO GOOD. It a true American classic, but unlike some of the older books, like “Moby Dick” it’s very easy and fun to read. I recommend it to everyone.”

– Mike R.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo – Taylor Jenkins Reid

“Though its writing style is simple, it will tear you to pieces. This might be my favorite book. Evelyn Hugo’s character is so complex. And with her flaws, you’ll love her anyways.”

– Emmalyn N.
