To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, HPB Flagship recently hosted young adult authors Samantha Mabry (author of Tigers, Not Daughters) and Alex Temblador (author of Half Outlaw) for a book signing and conversation led by HPB’s Marketing and Ecommerce Director, Becky Gomez. The authors shared their cultural upbringings and discussed how their experiences have informed their personal identities and their work as writers. It was a really interesting talk!
